The UG and PG students are encouraged to present papers at conferences, take part in Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) projects, and attend inter-college competitions.
Our department plays a major role in the hospital infection control program and framing the antibiotic policy for the institute.
We have organized MICROHORIZON - continuous education programs every year for the students to acquire an update in clinical microbiology.
