Central Research Laboratory

Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (MAPIMS) is committed to promoting scientific research among faculty members and students. To facilitate research endeavors, the institute has established a state-of-the-art Central Research Laboratory (CRL). This facility serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research and provides access to advanced equipment and expert guidance for conducting high-quality research projects.

The CRL is equipped with a wide range of sophisticated equipment essential for both research and diagnostic purposes. Some of the notable equipment available in the laboratory include Real-Time PCR, Arnold Sterilizer, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Uri scan Pro II, Gas Chromatography, CL 220 Flame Photometer, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Serum Inspissator, UV-Vis Spectroscope, Spectrophotometer, ELISA Reader & Washer, Biosafety cabinet, Bioblot mini single with power pack (western blotting), Immunoelectrophoresis system, and Deep Freezers (-20°C and -80°C), among others.
